Large sago pearls made from cassava starch. A popular ingredient in Filipino desserts such as sago't gulaman, halo-halo, and sweet beverages.

Directions for use:

  1. Boil 1 litre of water for every 100 g of sago pearls. Cook for 15–17 minutes, stirring constantly.
  2. Rinse several times with cold water.
  3. Refrigerate in water for at least 12 hours or overnight.
  4. Repeat the cooking process for 10 minutes and rinse again.
  5. Refrigerate in water for about 3 hours or until the white centre disappears. Rinse and serve.

Storage instructions:
Store in a cool, dry place.
